MySpace Is Not For Sale
NewsCorp has revealed that MySpace does not put up for sale and will continue to develop new services in an effort to win back users. Niche social networking site with a music specialist has fallen from the site when most active, while Facebook reveals himself as the second most visited site in the western world although new figure shows the slowdown, MySpace itself has consistently lost members along with its identity.
Speaking to Reuters, Jonathan Miller of NewsCorp said there was a “fabrication” on the rumor and the company was clearly not in talks for the sale of MySpace. Instead there will be a re-launch of this site due to funding approximately $ 350 million incurred by NewsCorp to buy this social network back in 2005. Now the number is displayed to show there is a gap between MySpace and Facebook. In June, MySpace users are 5 million (according TechCruch) while Facebook reportedly has 26 million users. If the statistics were not enough, Facebook is also now the third largest referrer to MySpace.
