Games in Smartphone Contains Viruses

Hackers have planted viruses in video games for smartphones that use Microsoft Corp. Windows operating system. This was revealed by an enterprise mobile device security specialist.

According to CEO John Vulture Lookout, 3D games referred to Anti-Terrorist and PDA Poker Art. Both games are available on websites that provide legitimate software for mobile devices.

This mobile device security company that is based in San Francisco declared the games bundled with software are dangerous. Because, every download and use these games, will automatically be connected to a premium phone services in Somalia, Italy and other countries. As a result, within a month, hundreds of dollars went into the user’s bill.

β€˜β€˜The service is run by the programmers who build the polluted software,” Vulture stated.

Victims usually do not realize they are infected until they get the phone bill and see charges of hundreds of dollars for premium phone services.

Hackers are now targeting smartphone users because of surging sales of sophisticated mobile devices along with the popularity of Apple Inc’s iPhone and Google Inc’s Android.
