MySpace Is Not For Sale

NewsCorp has revealed that MySpace does not put up for sale and will continue to develop new services in an effort to win back users. Niche social networking site with a music specialist has fallen from the site when most active, while Facebook reveals himself as the second most visited site in the western world although new figure shows the slowdown, MySpace itself has consistently lost members along with its identity.

Speaking to Reuters, Jonathan Miller of NewsCorp said there was a “fabrication” on the rumor and the company was clearly not in talks for the sale of MySpace. Instead there will be a re-launch of this site due to funding approximately $ 350 million incurred by NewsCorp to buy this social network back in 2005. Now the number is displayed to show there is a gap between MySpace and Facebook. In June, MySpace users are 5 million (according TechCruch) while Facebook reportedly has 26 million users. If the statistics were not enough, Facebook is also now the third largest referrer to MySpace.

Sony Ericsson Yendo

Since 2005 Sony Ericsson has been trying to revive the ‘Walkman’ brand – everyone had a Sony Walkman at some point or another. The W800 was the first mobile to be released under the ‘Walkman’ brand and was specifically aimed at those who wanted an all in one mobile / mp3 player. The Walkman brand has been somewhat quiet over the last few years but the new Sony Ericsson Yendo is hoping to revive the name and is being marketed as the newest mobile on the Walkman range. With mobile phone comparison websites you can pick up the best Sony Ericsson Yendo contracts available online, and these are usually much better than the deals found in high street stores.

The music player on the Yendo has full touch control, a new Track ID application that will instantly use the internet to identify any incompletely named or tagged tracks. The customary 3.5 mm audio jack is also present; it would hardly be a Walkman mobile without this. The Sony Ericsson Yendo also has MedioGo which lets you manage all your music from your computer which further adds to the ‘mp3 player’ feel of the mobile.

Indeed, the Sony Ericsson Yendo will be the first fully touch screen Walkman mobile and, on first inspection, the screen is very responsive which is surely a must if you need to change tracks quickly. Furthermore the Sony Ericsson Yendo will have the capability to hold up to 32 GB’s of data through an microSD card. This is one of the Yendo’s big selling points because this is far more than many mp3 players on the market at the minute – it is double what the iPod Nano offers in terms of memory capacity – and these mp3 players can only perform the single function – they can’t make calls or anything else that a mobile does.

The Sony Ericsson Yendo is an attempt to revive the popular Walkman range – it has sold 26 million mobiles since 2005 – and in terms of its music playing capabilities it certainly lives up to the Walkman legacy.
