The More Aggressive Work on Samsung Smartphone

In the list of five elite of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer in 2009, published research firm International Data Corp. (IDC), there is one producer who had his name has never entered into the list. He is Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. In the global mobile phone industry in general, Samsung is the world’s second largest producer, behind Nokia Corp, but in the global smartphone market, Samsung had a significant role because of less aggressive release of the smartphone.

In 2009, Samsung managed to enter the elite group of five of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer, because the more aggressive Samsung smartphone released in the past year, among other smartphones with the release of the Windows Mobile system operating even Android.

IDC explained, along the 2009 Sony Ericsson was able to sell 5.7 million units globally smartphone, aka rose 5.6 percent compared to 5.4 million units in 2008. IDC explains, the Nokia 2009 smartphone, especially popular in the Asia Pacific region, Latin America, and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). Shin said that, there is a big change in our smartphone strategy this year. We plan to strengthen our smartphone business by extending not only supply handsets, but also enrich the content, applications, and services.
